5 Reasons Why You Should Book Your Entertainment Early | Written by Warble Entertainment
Planning a wedding is a big deal. The to-do list alone is a task in itself and completing it may seem an impossible job at times, especially when every detail seems just as important as the other. It tends to start with the venue, the photographer, the dress and the cake… but when does the entertainment fit in? There’s so many wedding blogs, magazines and forums out there that give all kinds of advice when it comes to booking entertainment, but where on earth do you start? Some say that you can be a little more relaxed when it comes to booking your entertainment, but is it really something you want to be more relaxed with? Here’s a few reasons why getting in early is a good idea…

*Availability*
The most popular and professional acts are booked around 12 – 18 months in advance
for those busy dates so there really is no such thing as being too early. It may be that you’ve already
set your sights on a band you’ve already seen or a magician that blew you away at a friend’s party
and you know they need to be at your wedding… well don’t wait around, get them booked before it’s
too late and avoid any unnecessary disappointment.

*Quality*
It’s safe to say you only want the best of everything for your big day and entertainment will be no different. All of the most popular and professional acts will get snatched up rather quickly and for a very good reason too. If you like what you see, it’s very likely that someone else is having the same thoughts so it’s only a matter of time before it’s too late. You may even find that the best acts will be booked before you even get the chance to think about it.

*Budget*
If you are working on a budget then booking early will be key. There are plenty of amazing acts out there that are more than affordable and around that reasonable price bracket you were aiming for. This is all great to hear, but if you leave it too late, everyone else who thought the same will have gotten there first and you may end up spending more than originally planned.

*Suitability*
If you are looking for entertainment to fit a specific theme, it’s definitely worth looking into this and booking it as soon as possible. The last thing you want is to realise the final piece of the puzzle has already been booked by someone else and this means going right back to the drawing
board.

*Being Prepared*
This one may seem a little obvious but being prepared is a great feeling and something that can be easily done. Entertainment may seem like more of an optional luxury if you want all of the above to go as planned, give yourself plenty of time to do it. The earlier the better. So it’s safe to say it’s cool to be the early bird this time, making sure you end up with your perfect choice of entertainment with no troubles. Here’s to a happy bride and groom to be!
