*Afternoon Tea Beach Style*

Posted in: Afternoon Teas, United Kingdom On: November 11, 2014

This is one of the most charming tea rooms I have found on my tea travels.
*The Beach Hut Cafe* is a small kiosk resembling the appearance of a beach hut complete with bunting, colourful outdoor seating and stunning views of Forelands Beach in Bembridge, The Isle of Wight.
I came across this wonderful setting for a tearoom online and was determined to find it for a spot of tea and cake during a visit to the Isle of Wight. We were certainly not disappointed – what a hidden gem!
Having afternoon tea overlooking a beautiful beach is somewhat unique. It encompasses that British seaside charm that we all love without the hustle and bustle of a seaside town. The Beach Hut Cafe has created such an incredibly relaxing environment to spend an afternoon.
The fantastic scenery is enhanced by friendly, chatty and helpful staff. We chose to sit outside despite the wind to take in the lovely sea air. We were offered blankets to make our visit more comfortable, which is a lovely touch and conveys the attention to detail that The Beach Hut achieves.
They offer a very tempting menu including a plethora of fresh seafood for lunch and a scrumptious afternoon tea. As a dog lover, the fact that this is a dog friendly location is a real bonus.
If you are ever in the Isle of Wight, *The Beach Hut Cafe* is well worth a stop. For more information, please see www.isleofwightbeachcafe.co.uk
