*How did Heart Invites begin?*
I began working in the design world in 2010 as a Graphic Designer, and enjoyed working on my own little design projects at home on an evening. When I was planning for my wedding in 2011 my design project turned to the designing of my wedding invitations. It was then that my passion for wedding stationery began. I designed a small range of invitation designs, set up a basic website and to my surprise the orders started to trickle in from all over the world. The business has grown in leaps and bounds and last year I made the decision to leave my Graphic Design position and Heart Invites became my full time job. Happy days!

Beautiful Unique Quality
*What can Heart Invites offer to couples for their wedding?*
Whether you are someone who knows exactly what you want or one that doesn’t have a clue where to start, I will work closely with you to ensure your wedding stationery is perfect for you! My award winning wedding stationery can be personalised with as little or as much detail as you like. I offer a range of ‘off-the-peg’ designs to choose from or the chance to have your very own, bespoke design created.
If there is not a design that is exactly right for your wedding, any of the designs can be customised to suit your requirements. Any text, colour, layout and font changes can be made free of charge or bespoke stationery can be designed specifically to your needs!
*What is unique about Heart Invites?*
Whilst I believe all of my stationery designs to be original and unique I feel that my most unique selling point is providing bride and grooms the opportunity to print personalised or bespoke wedding stationery themselves using my ‘Print from Home’ service. The bride and groom can purchase personalised design files and print as many copies as they want from them, so whilst weddings can be expensive and most couples are working to tight budgets, a quality stationery design does not need to be a sacrifice that the couple has to make with this option.
*Wedding stationery gives the first impression of a wedding – what impression do you hope Heart Invites makes?*
I feel confident that Heart Invites invitations would have guests itching with excitement for the big day to arrive. It is important that your invite reflects the tone of the day and the couples’ personalities and by personalising my invite designs to each bride and groom this is the impression my invites should give.
*Could you please tell us about your fabulous stationery designs?*
I pride myself on offering a real variety of design-led, printed stationery, which ranges from modern and fun to vintage and elegant. I really like to be able to appeal to people of all personalities whilst still keeping my ‘Heart Invites’ design style throughout.
*Your stationery collections sound fantastic! What is included in each collection?*
Each collection consists of Save the Dates, Wedding Invites, Table Numbers/Names, Place Name Cards/Tags, Menu Cards, Order of Services, Table Plans and Thank You Cards. I can also design other items such as wedding signage, advice cards, etc to match your chosen collection should you want it.
What styles of Save the Dates do you offer and when should they be sent?
Save the Dates are usually sent out any time between 6-12 months before your wedding (perhaps further in advance for abroad weddings). I love the magnetic Save the Dates that I do for my clients. They can go on their fridge and are there everyday as a visual reminder of a couples wedding. I also offer invitation style save the dates, printed single or double sided.
*Can you please tell us more about your invitations range? When should they be sent out?*
I have 32 different invite designs which come in 4 different styles, single sided, double sided, regular fold or concertina fold (includes a perforate RSVP card for your guests to remove and pages for additional info). Which you opt for will largely depend on your budget and how much information you wish to supply your guests with. There really is something to suit everyone in my collections with a wide range of design styles, colour schemes and themes.
For more information, please see *Invitation Styles*
Your invitations should be sent out about 12 weeks prior to your wedding date, so ordering anywhere between 4-5 months would be recommended
For more details on when to order and send out your wedding stationery please check out my blog post ‘Your Wedding Stationery Timeline’
*How can Heart Invites help couples who have left their invitations to the last minute?*
If you have left arranging your invites out to the last minute or you are on a tight budget then the Ready to Write collection is for you! I have chosen my top 6 best selling designs from my off-the-peg collections and have adapted them to fit a double sided A6 postcard style invite which is designed with spaces for you to complete your own details. By cutting out the design process you are saving on costs and can have your invites delivered to you within a week.
*What would you recommend if couples have a tight budget for wedding stationery?*
*Could you please tell us more about your bespoke stationery service?*
I can design your stationery from scratch tailored to your requirements and create something beautifully unique and bespoke for a couple, which will make a lasting impression on their guests. A bespoke wedding stationery design is exactly that and with a point in the right direction from the client I do the rest having lots of fun along the way! There is an additional bespoke design fee for this service so if this is of interest please get in touch for more details.
*What advice would you give couples when considering wedding stationery?*
Wedding stationery is a very important part of any wedding, so it is really crucial that you take the time to get it right.
Trust your own instincts, you know yourself better than anyone else. If the stationery puts a massive smile on your face there is a good chance it will do the same for everyone else
