It’s a *Wonderful Wedding Wednesday* and I am super excited to share with you *Wedding Fun with Warble Entertainment*
Warble Entertainment is a fantastic supplier of unique entertainers and entertainment that could be the secret weapon to providing that wedding wow factor. After organising events for over ten years, I always get asked what is the secret to throwing a good party – my tip would always be *ENTERTAINMENT*. Weddings are obviously much more than just a good party but they can also be long days, so carefully selecting something to entertain your guests might be an important choice for you to make in your wedding planning.
There are not many entertainment ideas that I have not come across or used over the years but I was utterly delighted when I came across *Warble Entertainment*. It is so refreshing to see an entertainment supplier that provides such a fabulous range of unique and diverse entertainment ideas and it is clear from their portfolio of events – they are just brilliant at what they do! They really do have something to suit all tastes, ages, wedding themes and budgets, and I was literally bursting with themed party ideas on the click of every page!
They provide a spectacular range of entertainment across all areas, so please click the name of the area you are interested in for more information:

Today’s *Pearls of Wedding Wisdom* come from the lovely Tracey of *Warble Entertainment*
*How did Warble Entertainment begin?
Warble was formed in 2007 with the vision of being an honest, reliable and transparent agency. 8 years on we feel we have achieved this and understand the importance of these qualities more than ever when dealing with such an important day as a wedding.
* What can Warble Entertainment offer to couples?
Entertainment wise, Warble can literally offer anything you can think of and we have the UK’s most talented acts. More than this though we offer peace of mind. We are a reputable agency so you know the acts will be of great quality, reliable and provide what they have promised to. Also, we are available to talk to Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm with any problems, worries or ideas. You know your call will always be answered and your emails replied to. On top of this, we have a 24 hour emergency helpline so should something unforeseen happen on the day we are on hand to sort it all out and often without the bride or groom even noticing.
* Why should wedding entertainment be considered by couples?
Entertainment can be the difference between it being ‘a lovely day’ or ‘the best day ever’. If that’s not enough then here are some more reasons why:
– Entertainment helps to alleviate the pressure from the bride and groom. You will be busy enough trying to get round everyone but you also want to find time to relax and enjoy the occasion yourselves so carefully placed entertainment will keep your guests busy meaning you will feel less bombarded.
– To augment your chosen theme. If you are going for a Festival theme wedding for example, the main attraction will surely be the headline band!
– To help break the ice with your guests. You will have lots of different people who don’t know each other all in one place and so entertainment will provide a fantastic talking point.
*How can Warble Entertainment enhance a wedding?
Entertainment can enhance every part of the day and help to create the type of atmosphere you want. So if you are looking for a sophisticated and elegant feel then a harpist or String Quartet during the ceremony will provide this for you. For those wanting to inject some fun and laughter into proceedings then a caricaturist during the drinks reception or some surprise singing waiters at the wedding breakfast will help achieve this. Brides and Grooms who want lots of energy at their evening reception, a guaranteed full dance floor and for guests to leave wanting more then a live band has to be at the top of your list.
* If you had to describe Warble Entertainment in three words, what would they be?
Friendly, reliable, fun.
* What are your top tips for hiring wedding entertainers?
Our best tip here would be to book early! Ideally at least 12 months in advance. You’d be surprised how many brides and grooms don’t think of entertainment until a couple of months before, then the specific act they want is already booked. This is especially the case if you are booking for a weekend date over the summer or during December. Off-peak season for entertainers is Oct-Nov and Jan – Feb so if you are booking your wedding within these months you should be able to negotiate a good discount!
* What kinds of music do you offer for the wedding ceremony?
We can offer any kind of music the bride and groom want for the ceremony and the most popular choices for 2015 are:
– Acoustic duo
– Classical singer
* What styles of music can you provide for the drinks reception or the wedding breakfast?
Again, we can provide literally anything but for the drinks reception many brides and grooms are choosing saxophonists, jazz bands and acoustic guitarists whereas for the wedding breakfasts, surprise singing waiters and waitresses are still very high on the list along with Rat Pack singers and pianists.
* What different types of musical entertainment do you offer for the evening reception?
For the evening reception, the most popular entertainment by far is the 3 and 4 piece rock/pop bands. This is because they can play very contemporary music but still cover the old favourites too. They can also be flexible in terms of the space they require as well as often providing the DJ option free of charge. For brides and grooms with more space and larger budgets, the big 7-9 piece soul and motown bands are proving to be a huge hit!
* What range of mix and mingle acts do you offer?
Mix & mingle style acts for weddings have grown in popularity over the last few years with brides and grooms understanding the importance of what they can provide for their big day. Our most booked mix & mingle entertainment act for the last two years has been caricaturists and it’s easy to see why. They are such a versatile act with regards to fee, space and when they can perform, as well as being great value for money as your guests receive a fantastic memento of your special day. One of our unique and fast becoming most popular walkabout acts is the living trees. They are like real life living topiary that can blend into a garden or marquee wedding then come to life when guests least expect it! They also provide for a fantastic photo opportunity!
* What types of non-musical entertainment can be used at weddings?
As well as the acts mentioned above, Magicians are extremely popular for weddings. They are not your bog standard magicians with an old pack of cards either – there is a new breed of exciting street style magicians who have taken note of the likes of Derren Brown and Dynamo. They will literally leave your guests in absolute awe and amazement!
Other non-musical entertainment for weddings includes: lookalikes (great for photo opportunities), fire performers, stilt walkers, acrobats, aerialists and balloon modellers.
*What would you recommend to entertain children at weddings?
The majority of wedding entertainment is suitable for and will entertain children but one of the most popular is the circus skills workshop as not only are the children kept entertained and out of mischief, they get to learn a new skill and possibly gain a hobby!
* What kind of entertainment could be booked for a vintage themed wedding?
We love themed weddings at Warble and the vintage theme is an extremely popular one. We have lots of fantastic vintage bands from different eras such as 20’s swing and 50’s rock n roll. We also have dancers to suit all eras with our Gatsby dancers being the most sought after at the moment. We also have themed stilt walking characters, lookalikes such as Laurel and Hardy who are perfect for a 20’s theme wedding, mime artists, and living statues.
*Do you have themed entertainers to suit different wedding themes/styles?
Yes, of course – we have entertainment to fit in with any theme or style from 80’s themed bands to WWII singers and everything in between!
* What are the most unique wedding entertainers that you provide?
We have lots of exciting and unique entertainment for weddings, which really provide an amazing experience for the guests as well as the bride and groom! Bloxed Beatbox are one of our most unique and popular acts at the moment and they are receiving enquiries from all over the world and even from the Ellen Degeneres show in America. The are a beatboxing trio who can provide a full band sound with no instruments other than their mouths – it’s unbelievable!
We have lots more but many of them have to be seen to believed! You can check out their full profiles with pictures and videos on our website: *Warble Entertainment Unique Ideas*
* What entertainment would you recommend for the evening reception?
We always say you should end the night on a huge high as that’s the last memory your guests will leave with so if you have the budget for a band you should go for it! Also, as a great alternative to fireworks, which many venues will not allow nowadays, we have awesome fire performers. You can have a solo performer right through to a 7 person choreographed show with a pyrotechnic finale.
One of our most romantic and show stopping acts is the giant snow globe. This is absolutely perfect for a winter wonderland theme wedding although they can offer themes for different times of year. It includes two stunning acrobats inside a giant snow globe and they perform a stunning and awe inspiring routine to beautiful music and falling snow!
